Countdown to the Macy's Got Your 6 Charity Event starting June 28!
For the fifth year in a row, Got Your 6 is honored to partner with Macy’s. This year, Got Your 6 and Macy’s will team up to reinforce “The Power Of Potential” to ensure veterans skills are utilized here at home. Since 2013, Macy’s customers and associates have helped raise more than $8.3 million for Got Your 6 in support of veterans and military families across the country. Check out what we’ve accomplished with your support!
Got Your 6 Charity Event will take place Wednesday, June 28 to Tuesday, July 4. Give $3 and get 25% off storewide. Shop in store or online. Visit Macy’s to learn more.
In 2016, for the fourth year in a row, Got Your 6 was excited to participate in Macy’s American Icons campaign. Last year, Macy’s celebrated the beats we all love with music, festivities, and fashion. And together, as always, we celebrated the people, places, and things that make America great—all in effort to empower our country’s military veterans and families.
The campaign kicked off with Got Your 6 Weekend May 13-15. Got Your 6 and our partners visited Macy’s stores across the nation to share stories of service and to shift the conversation about veterans.
In order to empower veterans with Got Your 6 and Macy’s, shoppers were able to visit any Macy’s store or Macys.com and give $3 to get 25 percent off their purchase. Learn more at Macys.com/gotyour6.
In addition, on Thursday, June 2, Macy’s presented Macy’s Summer Vibes — an online music festival! For every view from June 2-19, Macy’s donated $1, up to $100K, to Got Your 6.
See you at Macy’s and online! And get ready to check out our 2017 Macy’s partnership.
I Am a Veteran
#IAm just like you
Got Your 6 and Macy’s teamed up for a special edition of the #IAm campaign! The campaign highlights veterans’ multi-dimensional attributes, challenging stereotypes and misconceptions in order to normalize perceptions of those who have served in the military. As the cultural narrative changes, Got Your 6 engages veterans and civilians together to foster understanding, and empower veterans to lead in their communities.
