Skydiving with the Golden Knights

Last week, I had the unique opportunity to leap out of a perfectly good airplane with the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights parachute demonstration team at the Homestead Air Reserve Base in Florida. Joining me in the experience were two movie stars — Kyle Schmid from the 6 Certified television show “SIX” on History, and Alexandra Shipp, an actress who starred in “Straight Outta Compton” and “X-Men: Apocalypse” — as well as an Olympian, a number of post-9/11 veterans like myself, and a 91-year old World War II bomber pilot (who’s remarkable story can be found here.)
